Our lifetime achievement award goes to someone very special.

I want it all. I want someone who is dedicated to me, yes. But you know who's not dedicated to me? Someone who is dedicated to herself. Me included. So, I hereby I dedicate this to myself. To my fearful past self, so scared to lose out on love, she allowed people in who had not made their own choices to make themselves happy (before they thought I would)--and my present self, scared, but brave enough to say, "Hey. Show me someone who is willing to be herself and make choices to fulfill that--someone who can then consciously choose me because she knows herself, and she thinks we'd complement eachother!"

You have come so far. You are willing to love wholeheartedly (still--even after ALL THE GRRRRR you've encountered--and caused) and you are a Light. And you've decided to still be a Light, and yet never to fall in the role of savior again. You admire strength, even when it is someone telling you no, or standing up for themselves against you. You admire courage, but more than that, you admire honest action. You now are choosing your life. You are finally (Lord, God in Heaven FINALLY) willing to say, "I am worth it." And you mean it.

Here's to you, truest self!

You have realized that if someone is interested in you, they must really know you for it to be authentic. Yes, even the sad, angry, new-age, or weird you. Even that you're an alien. You have realized just because someone likes you, that doesn't mean you have to acquiesce to being with them. You can let that one go by. You now know that when you are truly interested in someone, and attracted to them, you will choose "not to go there" if you see they aren't choosing to be authentic with you...and you can love them anyways just as much, and still not go there. You have patience. You want to both know what is going on with others, how they feel about you (as much as they know--even if it's not good), be open about how you feel anyway, and enjoy the wild mysterious journey together with or without them. You have come a loooong way, baby.

Here's to you, you little Human Sparkler, you!

Way to keep shining, keep enjoying, and way to GO on making decisions sooner rather than later. Here's to listening to your intuition, and being realistic about consequences, and all the while, still being honest about what you are observing, sensing, and feeling-- waiting for this to align with your inner sense of truth and wisdom, love and light, before acting. Nice sparkling. Well-played.

You chose to love. You chose to be okay even when hurt, sad, lost, rejected,or alone. You chose to honor who you are...no matter whether anyone else on the planet does or not. You stopped lying to yourself, and you decided that being alone with yourself in your honesty and integrity wasn't actually a bad thing after all. And by the way, good on ya for being willing to risk your sense of "ok-ness" by opening up to the idea that someone could be out there and be true enough to herself to be able to love you in all your intense and weird depth. And really good on ya for seeing that your intense and weird deep self is worthy of holding out for...even if it's for forever.

Yes, this is dedication. And with this, you open up a whole new life for yourself. Won't it be exciting to see who's in it to win it with you? And who's not? Especially now that you know what winning really is. Enjoy your new life...you'll be amazed at how easy it is to be dedicated to it.

Well, THANK you, Self! I am honored! What a wonderful surprise! I'd like to thank the Academy...and the Universe...and my own willingness to stay true to my vision despite years of my bad acting...and my director, and my producers (Mom and Dad...you know who you are)...just thank you ALL..[music starts playing]...and thank you to my friends who advise me logically, intuitively, spiritually, and heartedly...and [music volume increases] THANK YOU to those who were willing to suffer because I didn't get it yet...and to those who fought me because you made me strong in who I am...[yells over now deafening music] THANK YOU EVERYBODY!! AND THANK YOU SELF!! Looooove & Liiiiiiiight!
