If you ever wonder what you are missing, if you ever feel depressed, if you ever get mired in the complexity of life, stop. And Listen. Listen to your fellow humans (well, not all of them, just these two--and maybe read a little Virginia Woolf, for all issues except the one about feeling depressed, because likely you won't get much help from Virginia on that deal).

Everything this man said was genius. Every word and every conglomeration of words. If you want to get better at being human (and/or wish to generously consider leveling-up humanity as a whole), read his words. All of them.

IMHO: His character of Colin the robot probe sans negativity chip was the culmination of his wisdom.

Ford: "What's been happening here?" he demanded.

Colin: "Oh just the nicest things, sir, just the nicest things. can I sit on your lap please?"

Ford: "Colin, I am going to abandon you to your fate."

Colin: "I'm so happy."

Ford: "It will be very, very nasty for you, and that's just too bad. Got it?"

Colin: "I gurgle with pleasure."

Solutions nearly always come from the direction you least expect, which means there’s no point trying to look in that direction because it won’t be coming from there.
