🎱GAME!!! What year is this writing from? Hint: between 1998 and 2017

I began in the hammock watching the lightning and feeling the wind, then came upstairs watching the birds eye view and opening the window to the hard core rain when I smelled it then it hit...ahhhh I LOVE this...MAN do I love this
Layers of clouds rolling in
I've only heard a little thunder
But the lightning is surrounding me here
I sit two stories up
Smiling at the wildness and the sunset behind the sky
Monsoons in July
the flashes of sky fire and swelling clouds
hide the light that's left of the day
But every once in a while I get a glimpse
The wind is rattling the windows
Sending the dogs to my side
But we're not scared
We're just using the show as an excuse to get closer.
Soon the rain will come
But it's a good rain
And a fresh rain
And it cleans everything off and takes the dust out of the air
again
And I can smell it coming
Like I can you
In my mind...
Two of the sweetest smells in the world
side by side, I'd like them
I'd like to be one with the lightning racing through me
Until I feel the wetness bathing
the desert landscape
With you inside and outside
In the rain and under the electric flashes
and sheltered from it all at the same time.
The freedom of the raging wind and ecstasy of the storm
taking over every piece of the world here...
Here comes the rain...the droplets slamming the window now...coming four feet inside the house
Like you into me after all this time
And how it is with us
Life changing and simple
Alive and soft
Loud and all encompassing
all at the same time.
I lie back and let the storm wash crazy over me
And I love it for what it does to me
And how it feels
And everything it has brought me that I didn't have before.
All at the same time.
